History:
I first became interested in photography in June 2002 when I first saw what digital cameras could do and how they put to shame my disposable cameras. I had previously purchased the disposable and then got the pictures on CD which was getting expensive. I then bought my first digital camera; a Sony DSC-S75 to take pictures and small movie clips. I was satisfied with the point and shoot until one day a friend poisoned my blood by letting me use his Nikon D100, a Digital Single Lens Reflex (dSLR) in June of 2004. I was hooked and couldn't shake it. I bought a Nikon D70, a dSLR also, at the end of 2004.
In the Fall of '05 I took a photo course as part of my undergrad and didn't really learn anything new but how to make prints. We used film cameras which turned out to be extremely expensive, time consuming, and stressful with the workload. Overall, totally not worth it but nevertheless I used the school's scanners to scan the negatives and those pictures will be on display in the Photography gallery.

External Flash: Nikon SB-800 w/SC-29 Cable
If you are interested in knowing which camera was used, hover your cursor over the photo and a box will float over, click on "Photo Info". It will give the EXIF information and camera settings used to take the picture.
Post-Processing:
Many of the pictures have been enhanced with Adobe Photoshop or similar programs for brightness/contrast, sharpness/softness, color correction, image size/crop, and other such minor corrections. Any picture that was digitally edited will generally be noted. Editing would be superimposing another image into one and other such actions that are solely done to create a photograph rather than solely enhance.
Prints:
If you wish to purchase prints, enter the Photography Gallery. Other galleries you may buy prints depending on the content (pictures from college etc).
Also, comments! I encourage the use of them for individual pictures or the galleries. If the picture makes you laugh, cry, throw-up let me know why! If you do leave one, and it is a question...leave your email so I can respond! Another way to leave feedback is to hover your cursor over the picture and click the little thumbs that appear. Up is good and down is bad, unless it is opposite day...
All pictures are © 2002-2008 and may not be redistributed, reproduced, published, shown in public/commercial display, or used without expressed written permission. Purchasing a picture print does not grant you any permission to do any of the above actions including resale. Purchasing a print only gives you the right of private display. Any pictures that are not mine are used with permission and will be credited either by their own folder denoting such or in the description of the picture.
